Acquired from the Parisio family in the middle of the 19th Century by the Marquis Giuseppe Scicluna, it is now under the management of his great-grand-daughter, Christiane Ramsay Scicluna, Baroness of Tabria and her daughter.  This formidable mother and daughter team with their relentless vision and hard work have turned this grand and very stately home into one of the premiere heritage attractions of Malta. And it is within all this splendour, be it the 24-carat gilded and mirrored ballroom, the family chapel, the fabulous walled gardens, the orangery, the magnificent grounds, the open-air terrace, etc., that the most amazingly romantic civil ceremonies are held.
