Iberostar Creta Panorama Mare is an elegant 4-star hotel located on the shores of the Aegean Sea. Offering a huge range of facilities and stylish rooms, it sits in a very privileged position on the outskirts of the seaside resort of Panormos, approximately 18km east of Rethymnon - a perfect spot for your wedding and honeymoon. Making the most of the uninterrupted sea view, the set up for wedding ceremonies is on a pretty terrace where chairs offer comfortable sitting for your guests to witness your special moment. Whilst the package has a range of inclusions (see below), other decorations could also be arranged for you.

Important note: 

The official civil wedding ceremony takes place at the local Town Hall

Following the election of a new Mayor in Perama  in January 2024 - the couple and their 2 witnesses will need to go to the town hall to sign the official documents either the day before or on the morning prior to  the ceremony at the hotel 

Cocktail Parties & Wedding Receptions

Once you have exchanged your vows, take time to mingle with your guests on the terrace which offers a stunning and exclusive area for a smaller gathering. There are several on-site restaurants  but, as illustrated here, your reception can take place in the gardens . Depending on your party size and your preferences, we’ll make enquiries with the hotel to supply you with menus available for your reception.

The wedding package includes:

• Ceremony set-up including covered chairs, floral display on main table, lanterns & flower petals
• Bouquet of white roses for the bride and buttonhole for the groom
• Basket of flower petals and rice
• Bottle of sparkling wine & small one-tier wedding cake to toast bride and groom after ceremony
• 10 Photographs (13cm x 18cm) taken by hotel’s photographer
• Breakfast in room after wedding night

To be pre-paid in the UK

• Wedding planning & administration fee (including assistance of  the overseas wedding co-ordinator in resort, pre-wedding & on wedding day)
• Legalisation by FCDO of all documents you need to obtain plus translation fee
• Wedding venue hire & set up fee for wedding reception (when applicable)
• Registrar’s fee & ‘call-out’ fee for ceremony at the venue
• Wedding certificate
