For many couples one of the many advantages of getting married overseas is the chance to be able to plan to exchange their important vows on a beach. We have put together an excellent and varied selection of beach venues, be it the best local beaches at some of our destinations or a more elaborate set up on a hotel's beach. Whilst some will offer the perfect opportunity for a true sand-between-your-toes ceremony, others may take place by the waterfront on a purpose-built platform or decking.
It is important to note that beach weddings would usually take place early evening from about 6.00pm-6.30pm, This is to avoid the strong heat, set up anything required for the ceremony and give the wedding party a little more intimacy when sunbathers have left the beach. However, as beach weddings rarely take place in isolated spots, please bear in mind that the area will not be totally private and onlookers may wish to take a little peek.
